As part of exciting growth plans an excellent opportunity has come available for a Head of Building Services to join a multidisciplinary construction consultancy. The business have an outstanding reputation, they work with a diverse range of clients across Southern England on schemes ranging in value from small scale repair schemes to multi million pound new build projects.

This role is to lead their M&E Services business, managing the existing team whilst also growing their M&E service and unlocking the wider potential that their building services and low carbon expertise can provide. Excellent scope for future progression to executive leadership team with share ownership opportunity

**Role & Responsibilities of the Head of Building Services**:

- Working with Directors to develop strategies to ensure their M&E and Low Carbon offer drives their growth ambitions
- Working with Directors to maximise existing business synergies amongst a significant range of long-standing high-profile clients
- Day-to-day management and growth of the existing team, overseeing targeted recruitment that allows you to progress into a global strategic role over time.
- Overseeing M&E / Low Carbon fee submissions, commercial terms and appraising risk in consultation as applicable.
- Providing technical and strategic advice regarding their Low Carbon / decarbonisation offer and how this is knitted into Architecture, Building Surveying and other disciplines.

**Skills & Experience of the Head of Building Services**:

- Degree educated in an engineering discipline, a full CIBSE member with chartered status.
- Low Carbon Consultant accreditation would be advantageous.
- Proven track record in managing a team and supporting strategic delivery.
- Experience in some of their key sectors is beneficial - Healthcare, Higher Education, Schools, Retail / Commercial.
- Ability to mentor training staff and support development

- Base salary circa £70-75k (negotiable for the right person)
