Refresco, the world’s leading independent soft drinks manufacturer seeks a persuasive, analytical, commercially aware and operationally focused **Customer Operations Manager with Supply Chain specialism** to ensure products are produced on time,in the right quantities and to the perfect specifications for our important and demanding contract manufacturing customers (many household name brands). **This is a specialist role within Refresco and will suit you if you have customer services experience with supply chain focus and can pull together operations and commercial teams in an FMCG (food & drink) environment.**
**About the Role**
You will report to our Head of Supply Chain Planning, and you will be the 'owner' of Refresco’s operational supply chain & manufacturing performance for all our contract manufacturing customers, in addition to helping develop future contract manufacturing customeropportunities and on-boarding new customers.
You are the key escalation point for achieving alignment on customer demand, customer supply chain results, investigating and communicating issues back to the Refresco business.
**Your main duties and responsibilities as Contract Manufacturing Operations Manager are**:
- Building collaborative relationship with key external customers, to understand their supply needs, managing their expectations and supporting them in achieveing their requirements on product availability
- Aligning internal supply chain communication to achieve a focused, agreed and consistent message to our customers, again crucial in managing their expectations
- Being the internal champion of our customers’ needs liaising with supply chain colleagues, operations and commercial so that all are pulling in the same direction
- Being the external customer key point of contact for supply chain related issues and communication such as performance against KPI’s, progress chasing, reporting investigations, what corrective actions are being implemented, the production plan and 13 weekforecast, trial coordination, and waste investigations
- Supporting the Contract Manufacturing team in coordinating all planning/operations activities relating to the specified contract packing customers

**About You**
You will have been in a customer facing role in an FMCG environment working within the supply chain team, and you have a good understanding of how operations, commercial and supply chain link together to provide great service levels to external customers.You will be an excellent communicator, able to persuade and influence internally and externally to manage expectations on service delivery and stock availability issues.
You will be highly numerate, comfortable working with data and analysing information so that you can identify key issues, bottlenecks and opportunities.
As you can probably conclude you will need to be very organised, methodical in your approach, detail conscious and able to deal with last minute and constant change in a very calm way
