Making A Difference as An AAT Apprentice
Apprenticeship is 15 months long and you will work towards AAT Level 2 (Accounts Assistant)
The Finance section are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the team as Accounts Apprentices, An Accounts Apprentice is an integral part of the team, responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate finance function within St Helens Council. The Accounts Apprentice will learn and support the team of accountants with junior accounting duties. The work of an Accounts Apprentice will include basic bookkeeping activities, working with sales and purchase ledgers, running calculations to ensure that records and payments are correct, recording of cash and data entry. You will also get the opportunity to work closely with the team of accountants, giving you insight into a career in finance.
