Labourer

**Location: Belper**

**Hours Per Week: 40 hours, Mon-Fri**

**Job Type: Permanent Full-Time**

The Labourer shall:

- Carry out general labouring duties
- Carry out planned and reactive works as required within the agreed times and to the highest

standard, complying with current regulations and clients specifications
- Working either as part of the project team or reactive maintenance teams completing small

maintenance tasks under the instruction of a local site supervisor/Helpdesk without local

supervision
- Able to carry out works as per agreed timeframes ensuring practical completion is achieved as

scheduled
- Undertake a range of maintenance repairs including installation of building fabric fixtures & fittings,

replacing lamps, installation of containment & cable, replacing sanitary ware etc.
- Management & replenishment of local site stock
- Deliveries of material between sites and local suppliers
- Sites Waste Management
- Observing the highest levels of health and safety at all times and ensure the best possible working

practices are adhered.
- Cutting & coring of access holes
- Patching & Painting
- Fire Stopping
- Overall site welfare duties
- Will be comfortable working at height

**About You**:
**Essential Criteria**

1. The ability to independently get to site each day.

**Desirable Criteria**

1. Current full UK drivers licence

2. Having previously engaged with Employment & Skills

3. Knowledge of the Trade/Building industry

4. Registered CSCS/CSR Card or equivalent skill card
