**Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire**
**Salary: up to £25,000 depending on experience + commission & benefits**
**The role**
We are now looking for a Sales Executive to join the team here at FMB Insurance. This is a great opportunity for a passionate and driven sales professional, to make your mark and reap the rewards Reporting to the Sales Manager & working within a small team,the main purpose of the role is to generate business by offering the full range of FMB insurance products to new & existing customers. The role will be based from our Ely office in Cambridgeshire, and we offer hybrid working for flexibility. Some key objectives& responsibilities will include:
- Generate new business using a variety of methods to source leads (including but not limited to telesales, and the web etc)
- Work closely with the Sales Support team to ensure that repeat business is maximised through effective client management.
- Maintain up to date knowledge and understanding of all products available from FMB Insurance (both Coversure and Structural Defects).
- Presentation of complex risks to a number of insurers across multiple products
- Explain levels of cover to prospective customers and develop an in-depth understanding of their demands and need to maximise potential for repeat business.
- Gather initial information to allow a quotation for any Structural Defects policy to be issued and work closely with Account Support team to ensure that information is gathered.
**About you**
As one of our Sales Executives, you’ll have the drive and passion to succeed in a sales environment. You’ll be the type of person who is keen to learn and develop
- being able to understand the range of FMB Insurance products quickly to help our customers.You will also be or have:
- Proven sales background (lead generation, securing and closing) with strong administration experience
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Excellent telephone manner, being able to network & build working relationships easily
- Good attention to detail and can multi-task, updating relevant systems where necessary
- Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance and sales
- Experience of working in a regulated environment (ideally FCA)
- Insurance background with relevant qualifications (desirable)
- Knowledge of the Construction sector (desirable)
- Experience of Insurance sales & working with SME’s (desirable)
