**Head of Stakeholder Engagement**
Basic Salary Circa £45, 000

Join us as our Head of Stakeholder Engagement where you will support our ambitious growth plans by leading our
Stakeholder Engagement strategy and activities. This position will involve leading and developing a small marketing team, liaise with other departments across the company and our external marketing support to drive PI-KEM brand engagement and strengthen the PI-KEM presence within relevant academic and commercial markets. This will involve identification and onboarding of new clients, suppliers, products or markets, and the development of existing business relationships.

**General requirements and background needed**:

- Experience in using a range of communication and engagement methods to build, and deepen, internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Previous marketing and business development experience, preferably gained within the B2B scientific research or technology domains, with proven ability to identify, open and develop new business relationships
- Demonstrable experience delivering targeted communication materials and activities, including newsletters, press releases, social media content, professional development events, round table discussions, podcasts, and stakeholder engagement events
- Experience of communicating complex ideas and proposals effectively
- Have strong negotiating and influencing skills
- Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative and as part of a larger, cross-functional, or multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of GDPR, information governance and information management, or willingness to learn.
- Experience of working in an agile project delivery environment
- Extremely organised with an attention to detail and ability to achieve results through others
- Discrete with an ability to work on projects controlled by non-disclosure agreements

**Science and Technology Sector knowledge**:

- Preferably have a good knowledge of at least one of our five key focus areas of Photonics and Optoelectronics,

Energy Research, Material Processing, Thin Film and Nano Research and High Performance and MetallicCompounds, of able to demonstrate ability to learn complex information.
- Experience of working with Academic Institutions, R & D Companies, and manufacturers.

The Head of Stakeholder Engagement will be based out of our Tamworth office. The role will be a mix of office, home and visit based and will require some travel way from home, both in the UK and overseas.

**Role Purpose**

As **PI-KEM’s** **Head of Stakeholder Engagement, **you will manage and lead our marketing team. You will be supported by our Director of Strategic Programmes, who has extensive experience within our company and other B2B settings, specialising in marketing, systems and process development and business growth.

You will:

- Work closely with Director of Strategic Programmes, Managing Director, Head of BD, Procurement, and Brand and Communications Manager to produce a Stakeholder Engagement Strategy and develop KPI’s that align with the Company Development Strategy, to allow monitoring and evaluation of its success
