**What You Will Be Doing**:
Working on a shift pattern Monday to Thursday 06.00 -18.30 or 18.00 - 06:30
Lead and manage a team on the day to day, shift by shift operation of the processing line.
Ensure optimal plant efficiency to meet operational performance targets whilst ensuring safe running of the production line.
To ensure a high standard of the processed product quality is maintained throughout the shift.
Problem solving, breakdown resolution, trouble shooting - liaising with Manager and engineering as appropriate.
Monitoring of operational performance of shift and taking necessary action to respond to variations
Ensuring that performance metrics are maintained
Working with operatives to ensure that the processed product quality is maintained
Promotion implementation and monitoring of continuous improvement initiatives
Identification of training requirements and ensuring their team are suitably skilled and authorised to perform their duties
Ensure adoption of safe working procedures
Optimise utilisation of their team
