About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to join our team at Concept Resources. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all plant, equipment, and site services are maintained and repaired in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
• Manage the engineering resource and ensure compliance with all current codes of practice, including company standards and statutory compliance.
• Lead the implementation of new manufacturing machinery and ensure that all new lines are added smoothly and operationally.
• Develop and implement a full preventative maintenance program to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Manage and develop a team of engineers to ensure the day-to-day activities of the site-based engineering department are carried out effectively.
• Continuously improve engineering practices, standards, and projects to ensure efficient use of energy resources and environmental compliance.
• Ensure buildings, plant, and equipment are safe in design and operation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years at Head of Maintenance or Senior Manager level.
• Recognised electrical and mechanical engineering qualifications.
• Extensive experience within a fast-paced industrial engineering environment.
• People management experience.
• Working understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
• Strong multi-skilled technical abilities to make decisions and make the department run effectively.
• IT Literate.
