Team Administrator Band 3 up to 30 hours per week. Fixed Term for 12 months

To provide essential administrative support and coordination of the service and ensuring effective communication between health professionals and the client group.

The post-holder will provide administrative support for the North Cumbria Children's and Young Person's diabetes team team which includes doctors, specialist nurses, dietitians and psychologist. Duties will include assisting with the management of the Diabetes team database system producing reports as required for both internal and external purposes and management of multi-disciplinary clinic appointments. Organising and managing the ordering of patients essential diabetes equipment/technologies from external suppliers and monitoring invoice activity, liaising closely with the trusts finance department. The team administrator will be also be required to take an active role in attending and participating in team meetings minutes and contribute to The North East and North Cumbria children’s and young person's diabetes Network in a liaison role. The role requires excellent communication skills

The Children’s and Young person's Diabetes Team Administrator role is an exciting opportunity to support and work closely with the North Cumbria Children’s and young person's Multidisciplinary diabetes Team. This post is a continually evolving organisational role and will cover the service for both CIC and WCH.

**Disclosure and Barring Service**:

**Standard Check**: £26 + Administration cost of £4.80 = £30.80. Deducted at £9.80 from 1st month salary and £7 deducted from salary over following 3 months.

**Enhanced Check**: £44 + administration cost of £4.80 = £48.80. Deducted at £15.80 from 1st month salary and £11 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
