An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Livewell Southwest Well Being Team.

This post will be focused on the delivery of wellbeing based training to a range of people across the city of Plymouth. These training sessions will include, but not be limited to..
- MHFA Mental Health First Aid
- ASIST- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training
- SafeTALK
- CONNECT 5
- MECC Making Every Contact Count
- Other locally developed training

The post holder will also be trained to deliver NHS health checks across businesses and communities in Plymouth.

These interventions will help businesses and individuals to gain greater awareness of public health challenges and put the necessary support in place for people that need it. We are committed to reduce health inequalities and the programmes will be targeted to reflect that.

As part of the wider Wellbeing Team at Livewell Southwest, there may also be times when the postholder will support other areas of the business such as public events, wellbeing at work and client support.

Its an exciting role that will play an important part in our team reducing health inequalities across the city of Plymouth, so please do get in touch if you need more information and for a chat about the job and the team.
