We’re looking for an experienced technically minded resource to join our growing Product team to drive delivery of our technical roadmap across the Retail and London Market insurance sectors. **What's The Job?**

As a key member of the Product team, you will work across the company verticals of Research & Development (R&D), Project Delivery, Quality Assurance (QA) and our clients, to design, build, launch and optimise an end-to-end policy management system that delivers both customer requirements and the company’s vision and strategy.

As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for gathering requirements from stakeholders, developing new ideas based on your industry expertise. You will own writing the requirements in the form of user stories and use cases. Upon completion of solution design with the relevant technical teams, requirements will move into the development phase, where you will work with R&D and QA in a Scrum methodology to ensure the requirements are well understood and met by the developed functionality.

This is a technically focused role, but the ability to understand the business process driving the integration and the impact on the process is vital. You must possess a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must be able to effectively translate third party technical requirements into Novidea platform needs (while building an understanding of the Novidea offering).

**What You’ll Do**
- Translate functional/business requirements into a solution design that enables development to deliver at level of quality expected
- Create and refine user stories in collaboration with the Product, R&D and QA teams
- Supply low-level elaboration for user stories, which may include providing business scenarios, user journeys and explanation of complex problem scenarios
- Communicate the vision and goals of the feature to the development team, QA team and stakeholders through the use of product tools
- Serve as primary point of contact for your workstream, primarily with the R&D team throughout analysis and development phases
- Manage the content supplied to the development team for each sprint
- Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of Novidea functionalities through the development process

Supporting the Product Delivery
- Through your market knowledge, support the Product Manager in building and execution of the product roadmap
- Keep abreast of market initiatives, client business demands, and regulatory changes affecting the product and our company strategy
- Collate feedback from internal stakeholders and customers to feed functional requirements supplied to the development team

**What You Bring**
- Considerable professional experience (3+ years) as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in an Agile development environment
- Strong understanding of integration methodologies and frameworks
- Proven experience dealing with data contracts, Restful APIs, and web services
- Ability to analyse and translate the requirements of the integration to drive analysis of any gaps in data
- Experience with test practices, API portals, test harnesses, etc.
- Played a critical role in the delivery of policy management systems into Insurance organisations.
- Extensive experience writing epics, user stories, user journeys, technical specs - whatever the best way to provide requirements to the development teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with off-shore development teams

- Development of Gateway architectures e.g. Payments, Quotations
- Demonstrate working with innovative technologies/partners
- Experience working with remote development teams
- Experience managing the ceremonies utilised in the Agile SDLC framework
- Experience working in a culture of a “scale up” company
- Interfacing as the supplier to client project teams
- Prior experience in JIRA
