**Job Title**: Technical Product Owner

**Location**: Paddington, London, office-based

**Employment status**: Full-time, permanent

**Reporting to**: Head of Delivery

**Working week**: Monday-Friday

**Salary Range**: £60-70k

**Overview**:
As a Technical Product Owner in HyperJar, we will encourage you to embrace a proactive mindset and take complete ownership of your responsibilities. Given our tight-knit team, we value individuals who are eager to take initiative and ensure tasks are completed effectively.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and prioritize product requirements.
- Create clear and concise epics and user stories plus define the technical tasks needed to realise the product features.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure they have a clear understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Create and maintain product backlogs, ensuring they are groomed and prioritized effectively.
- Work with business stakeholders and the development team, providing guidance and clarification as needed.
- Drive the agile development process, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.
- Monitor project progress and remove obstacles to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct regular reviews and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product strategy and roadmap.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role in a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience with agile tools such as Jira or Trello.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
- Solid technical background with proficiency in software development concepts and practices.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Certification in Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent is a plus.
- Proven working experience in the Fintech industry is essential.
