YOUR ROLE

Our operation based in Dartford who provide warehousing and distribution services for a prestigious client are looking to recruit an experienced and customer centric Warehouse Supervisor, where you will oversee the safe and accurate handling of goods across the operation and ensure operational activities are conducted safely meeting contractual targets and customer expectations.

This role will be a day shift, where you will work a 40 hours per week and take a flexible approach to meet perational demand.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the Site Lead, you will lead a small team of warehousing colleagues where you will supervise the unloading, receiving, put-away, picking, sortation, arrangement, loading and movement of parts across the site where you will ensure stock accuracy and integrity. Your team will receive task instructions from the onsite WMS where you will ensure activities are undertaken in accordance with company policies, safety regulations and MHE tasks are carried out correctly and individuals hold the correct certifications. You will ensure your team are adequately trained within the operation to cover any holiday, sickness, absence, or overtime as and when required.

You will build an excellent working relationship with the customer and internal stakeholders ensuring all customer requirements are fulfilled to the highest standard. Providing regular operational updates to management on successes, operational excellence and continuous improvement projects as well as maintaining the sites SCA score where you will activity participate demonstrating and upholding a showcase site.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

It goes without saying that you have strong stakeholder engagement skills, capable of building relationships at all levels. You will be a PC user with the ability to present performance and KPI data to management when required.
