- YOUR ROLEDue to an exciting new partnership with a global consumer retail customer based within our facility in Dartford we have several exciting opportunities for passionate and customer centric Warehouse Operatives.- Working with a newly built operational team, you will be joining an operation at the start of its journey where you will be responsible for the movement and storage of goods to, from and within the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and on time to meet and exceed client, customer, and company expectations.- These opportunities will be part time, 20 hours per week, and perfect for individuals looking for flexibility.- WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?Reporting into the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Unload vehicles, ensuring goods are in excellent condition, the count is correct from the WMS system including goods received notes, and all paperwork is accurately completed.
- Load vehicles in line with the manifest ensuring the load is safe for transit and all paperwork is completed.
- Pick goods within the warehouse as instructed by management.
- Report all accidents, incidents, damages, near misses and hazards immediately to management ensuring swift actions are taken.
- Move goods to designated warehouse locations.
- Assemble goods as instructed using WMS systems.
- Promote and follow all Health and Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain hygiene standard across the warehouse and clean as you go.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?-
- This role will require someone who is physically fit and able to perform manual tasks such as unloading and loading vehicles, pick and pack and moving goods across the warehouse.- It would be desirable, however not essential if you already hold and FLT license and have experience of barcode scanning and manual handling.WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?- With a genuine culture of reward and recognition, we want our employees to grow, develop and be part of our journey.
