**Job Role**: Resettlement and Integration Worker

**Salary**:£24,500

**Hours**:Full-time 37.5 hours per week

**Contract type**:Permanent

**Location**:Kingswood

**The Role**:
This role is working within our Refugee Resettlement team. You will be supporting and empowering individuals and families that are resettling in South Gloucestershire. The support you provide will need to be client-centered and tailored to each individual's needs, including access to healthcare, education, housing, benefits and meaningful occupation. Within the role you will give individuals and families the knowledge and tools to be fully independent in their lives in the UK.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Take a lead professional role in coordinating multi-agency support around the individual or family, including organizing and leading meetings between the individual or family and the professionals supporting them.
- Provide support and guidance through a drop-in arrangement at community and other sites.
- Support families to secure independent accommodation when the hosting provided by sponsors ends.
- Carry out, within reason, any other duties necessary to achieve the smooth running of the organization and undertake other organizational duties, which are broadly in line with the above key responsibilities.
- Keep up-to-date risk assessments and Care Support Plans for clients.

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- A valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle - business insurance will be required for roles involving travel to work.
- Understanding of the complex needs of Asylum Seeker and Refugees who have experienced trauma.
- Language skills in Ukrainian (desirable).
- Empathy and understanding of the needs of Asylum Seekers and Refugees who have experienced trauma and who have complex needs.
- Willingness and ability to work flexibly with very occasional evening and weekend work.
