Fram are working with a Halifax based IFA, who are seeking a Junior financial advisor to join their team. This role is to take over existing clients from some of the more senior advisors in order for them to develop new business. Our client is happy to talk to a or new qualified advisor who wants that next step in their career, or a trainee advisor who is not getting the client flow they were promised by their existing employer.

Some of the responsibilities:

- Meeting with clients to understand their current finances and future plans.
- Work collaboratively with Paraplanners, support staff, line managers and other parts of the business, in order to deliver advisory services to the clients.
- Research financial products and explaining details of products so that clients can make informed choices.
- Prepare clear recommendations to clients as and when required.
- Negotiate with providers of financial products where appropriate.
- Produce standard financial reports.
- Keep clients regularly updated about their investments.
- Ensure that all client meetings are accurately documented in line with the company financial planning process
- Ensure that both hard and soft fact-finding is completed to high company standards and that sufficient client information is obtained and then analysed to best effect
- Provide research and analysis of investment funds and financial products, whilst considering the client objectives, report writing and product recommendations for clients
- Review asset allocation for any investment/pension holdings
- Complete financial cashflow forecasts, clearly demonstrating the clients current and future financial position
- Facilitate all advice within a strict ethical and compliant framework
- Undertake review process for assigned clients ensuring that service is delivered in line with the agreed fee / retainer / service level
- Ensuring that internal systems are used effectively and accurately, and that client detail is recorded and kept up to date
