Shireland Collegiate Academy is an Ofsted rated outstanding school and the founding school of Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust, a multi-academy trust formed in September 2007 with a shared aim of providing the very best for all our children, families, and staff.

The person appointed will promote the school and Trust culture and ethos, embodying our vision and values by ensuring the highest standards and expectations in teaching, learning, behaviour and management, partner engagement and resource management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Academic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership, setting high academic standards, and driving excellence in teaching and learning. Lead collaboration across the Trust to develop innovative programs that enhance student engagement and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Student-Centric Approach: Foster an inclusive, supportive, and student-centric learning environment that nurtures each individual's talents, interests, and aspirations. Champion holistic development and create opportunities for students to excel academically, emotionally, and socially.
- Staff Development: Empower and inspire Leadership Teams and school staff to deliver exceptional education by providing professional development opportunities, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work culture. Encourage innovation, creativity, and a commitment to ongoing learning.
- Community Engagement: Forge strong partnerships with parents, local organisations, and the wider community. Actively engage with stakeholders, promoting transparency, and building relationships to ensure the success and growth of the academy and the Trust.
- Strategic Leadership: Working with the CEO and Executive Teams to drive the strategic direction of the Trust, identifying opportunities for growth, and developing initiatives that enhance the institution's reputation. Collaborate with the Trust Board and other stakeholders to align goals and objectives.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Principal/Head Teacher, preferably across all Key Stages.
- Excellent understanding of educational best practices, curriculum development, and student assessment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Visionary mindset, embracing innovation and forward-thinking strategies in education.
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills to drive collaboration and facilitate effective decision-making.
