Local Resource Controller

The Resource Team in Wolverhampton is responsible for resourcing our On Board People effectively. As a Local Resource Controller, you will be part of the Resources team, covering the Wolverhampton area and involved in ensuring that train services are fully crewed with caterers and managing catering crews during disruption to ensure an amazing customer experience.

This is an exciting role, and you will be fully involved in developing working processes and relationships with the Resource Team, frontline caterers and local management teams.

Clear communication with our frontline staff and depot teams is essential; working well on your own, under pressure, being proactive and have a professional and polite manner. A knowledge of railway geography is useful. All systems are computer-based so a good knowledge of IT is essential. Crew-plan, Genius and integrali are the rostering tools used and a working knowledge of these systems would be advantageous but full training will be given.

The position is a Local Resource Controller role for Wolverhampton, working early and late shifts on a 7-day roster. This role is based at Wolverhampton Station.
