**The Department and the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity within our Inspection department for a Fabric Inspector.

Our Final Inspection department is where our finished fabric comes in ready to be inspected and graded to ensure it meets our customer requirements. Our Fabric Inspectors are responsible for identifying and classifying faults and is a key element of our quality inspection processes. You would be responsible for inspecting our fabric for any faults, ensuring correct measurements are taken and recorded accurately. Trimming rolls to meet customer specifications and using various manual & powered trucks are requirements of the role. Full training will be given.

**Hours of the Role**

This position is currently employed on a 2 Shift **WITH **a 4 Shift Clause. This will mean you will be working a 2 Shift pattern with the expectation of frequently changing over to a 4 Shift working pattern. The patterns are further explained below:
**2 shift**: Week 1 - 6am-2pm and Week 2 - 2pm-10pm Mon-Fri

**4 shift**: 14 shifts over 28 days (days and nights)
- Please note, a 4 Shift pattern will require both days and night shifts. 6am to 6pm, then 6pm to 6am. Each shift involves a 12 hour shift._

Full training is provided for all of our Operative roles to help you grow and develop your expertise.

**Essential Skills**
- Experience of operating machinery
- Keen eye for detail and good colour vision
- An understanding of HS&E and quality issues in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in a team as well as on your own initiative at times
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Focused approach

**Desirable**
- Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment would be an advantage but not essential
