**_We have a new opportunity within our Finishing Department for a Fabric Inspector._**
Rotating 2-shift pattern
Week 1: 6.00 am - 2.00 pm
Week 2: 2.00 pm - 10.00 pm
Up to £22,000 per year

**About the department and the role**:
Our Final Inspection area is where our finished fabric is received ready to be inspected and graded to ensure it meets our customer requirements.
Our Fabric Inspectors are responsible for identifying and classifying faults and is a key element of our quality inspection processes. You would be responsible for inspecting fabric for any faults, ensuring that measurements are taken and recorded accurately. Trimming rolls to meet customer specifications and using various manual & powered trucks are requirements of the role.
Full training is provided for all of our Operative roles to help you grow and develop your expertise.
**Skills, knowledge and experience required**:
- Experience in operating machinery
- A keen eye for detail and good colour vision
- An understanding of HS&E and quality issues in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in a team as well as on own initiative at times
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Focused approach
- Desirable_
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage but not essential
