**_Adele Carr Financial Recruitment_** is proud to be supporting the recruitment requirements of a leading service provider on the Wirral, who are keen to appoint a qualified, **Financial Accountant** on a full time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be part of a growing finance team, providing much needed support and experience to the finance department and wider business.

The successful new appointment will be a fully qualified accountant, (ACA / CIMA / ACCA), who offers a proven background. The ideal applicant will have the relevant, financial experience and be looking to progress their career into a more senior accountantrole that involves leadership.

You will be responsible for producing management accounts, statutory reporting including balance sheet, cash management / treasury and year-end audit. You will lead and motivate the team to ensure deadlines are met, whilst influencing how reports are produced,taking a leading hand in year end audit and process improvement.

This role would suit a good, all round financial accountant, who has strong technical skills, who enjoys working autonomously, whilst is enthusiastic in sharing knowledge and ideas to develop others.

A handover will be provided, although it is important you learn quickly and adapt to the business and role.

**The Financial Accountant will be responsible for**:

- Supporting the Head of Finance and board
- Providing essential support with monthly management accounts and cash management
- Producing cash flow forecasts
- Oversee / support transactions team, AR, cash and banking, debt management
- Managing the treasury function
- Various projects including process improvements
- Statutory reporting, fixed assets, preparation of financial year end audit
- Provide ah hoc reporting & analysis

**The ideal applicant, will be**:

- Fully Qualified / ACCA / ACA / CIMA / CCAB
- Available to start work on a short notice
- Be an active, key member of the finance team, leading by example, improving controls and processes
- Capable of working well under pressure and meeting deadlines with mínimal supervision
- Possess strong communication, analytic and organisational skills
- A conscientious individual with a keen eye for detail
- Strong MS Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLook Ups, SUM IF's, formulas)

**Recruitment Process
