As a leading NHS Payroll provider, we have recently expanded our client base and require experienced NHS Payroll Officers to join our team at this exciting stage. If you have previous experiences in NHS Payroll work and or/ ESR HR transactional work, the ability to work on your own and be committed to team working then this could be the perfect role for you.

**Main duties of the job**:
You would support Team Leaders in providing practical training to Payroll Clerks and Trainees. This involves ensuring the day-to-day co-ordination of all work processes by junior staff are completed, and includes a significant role with induction training, and dealing with complex queries.

You must be able to work using your own initiative and have a willingness to embrace new technologies and change.

We value our staff and offer Flexi Time working. We are currently working on a hybrid basis, which consists of a mix of both office and home working, but fully remote working could be considered.

- GCSE in Math’s & English Grades 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent
- AAT Technician / NVQ Level 4 or NHS Payroll Experience

**HMRC Knowledge**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Detailed knowledge of HMRC & National Insurance regulations

**Desirable criteria**:

- Knowledge of Statutory payments, SMP, SPP, SAP, SHPP etc.

- Knowledge of Payroll Procedures

**NHS Pension Scheme**:

- Knowledge of NHS Pension Scheme
- Experience of using the NHS Pensions Online system
