Our client is a privately owned company whose core activities include major projects in Telecommunication and Electrical power installations, Gas and Water Distribution systems and associated civil engineering works.

They are now looking for an experienced Field based Supervisor to manage cabling and TRR crews (6-person team) covering an expanding project across County Durham in Northeast England. Starting in Middleton-in-Teesdale, this project will expand to cover other areas of Northeast England
**Reporting to the Fibre Delivery Manager, the Fibre Cabling Supervisor will be primarily responsible for**:

- Managing cabling/TRR projects across an end-to-end lifecycle.
- Assisting with real-time reporting, submitting weekly reports, managing stock levels, ordering materials, and submitting measures for payment.

**The Fibre Cabling Supervisor will also be responsible for**:

- Planning works from surveys, test rod and rope (TRR), network construction and cabling.
- Planning works alongside our sub-contractors to ensure construction and engineering works do not overrun.
- Managing teams of cablers and splicers.
- Ensuring as-built information is collated and in line with the clients' requirements.
- Ensure weekly walk-offs are done with the sub-contractor to identify accurate measures for payment.

**To Apply**:

- The Fibre Cabling Supervisor should have experience in managing staff in a modern way, building teams, and identifying training requirements.
- Holder of SMSTS, SSSTS, CIOB Level 4 Certificate or CSCS black card.
- EUSR.
- Have relevant BT Accreditations (SA001, SA002, N28 etc)
- NRSWA full Supervisor card is essential (Previous holders of this card will be considered)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office is essential.
- Previous experience managing a team would be desirable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £40,000.00 per year
