We are excited to be looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Partnership Support Officer to support the south west London and Surrey Social Work Teaching Partnership in its vision to attract, develop and retain the best and the brightest students and Children’s and Adults social workers in the country.

**This is a 15 month fixed term position**

About the role

The post holder will be employed (or seconded) to Achieving for Children (AfC) to manage and coordinate the administrative aspects of the programme, including updating social media channels, supporting with online and face to face events, attending and providing programme updates at partnership meetings, minute taking, making proactive decisions that will help the team deliver to the agreed timescales. They will work in collaboration with the Head of the Teaching Partnership, Lead Practice Consultant, Practice Consultant, CPD & Events Consultant and all partner agencies to:

- Support strands of the programme of work as and when required, taking proactive ownership of activities allocated
- Provide project updates and reports via Excel/Sheets and any other tracking systems as required
- Carry out meeting administration - including booking rooms and equipment and taking minutes which will form part of the audit trail
- Support the team in preparing for operational and strategic meetings, including drafting of background papers and progress reports
- Support with organising events, both face to face and virtual, including appropriate technical support

About you
- A qualification or equivalent relevant experience in project and/or business support
- Experience organising, facilitating and promoting events
- Experience utilising social media and knowledge of virtual platforms e.g. Zoom, Google, MS Teams etc.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to engage with a range of different stakeholders
- Proficient utilising Microsoft office and/or Google Suite to develop presentations, spreadsheets and communications content for dissemination to large audiences

Important Information

**Internal start dates**: Start dates will be agreed once all pre-transfer checks are completed. The usual transfer date will be in line with employees contracts unless agreement is reached between the existing and new line manager.
