**Job Title: Marketing Executive**

**Location: Aldershot, GU12 4DZ**

**Salary: Up to £27,000 (depending on experience) + benefits**

**Role is Full Time and Permanent working Monday to Friday from Aldershot dealership**

Our client is an award-winning, privately owned car and van dealership, they operate 22 franchise dealerships all over the UK.

They are actively recruiting for a motivated and forward-thinking marketing executive to join their award-winning team.

**Role Overview**:
To assist in the execution of our clients marketing strategy, which supports the achievement of the group’s overall business objectives. This role will be responsible for the development of internal and external communications (both online and offline) and will be required to support in the delivery of content and creative assets to ensure our client consistently present their brand, products and services in a professional, creative and memorable way.

**Areas of Responsibility**:

- Writing content, including press releases, editorial, advertorial, e-newsletters and internal communications
- Review and measure marketing and PR activities
- Deliver campaign assets that are creative, engaging and accurate in their content, working with our external agency partners to ensure that the highest levels of creative standards are met
- Research publications and channels for campaign delivery, making recommendations as required
- Assist in the organisation of events and product placement initiatives, including the development and organisation of promotional activity and merchandise
- Oversee the content for social media channels, ensuring regular, relevant, proactive content is posted weekly from each of the group’s main accounts and supporting the sites in managing their local social media activity.
- Management of online review platforms - monitoring Google and Autotrader reviews and responding in a timely and professional manner
- Copywriting and development of the internal team newsletter, working with the wider business to deliver stories that are both engaging and support the objectives of being an employer of choice.
- Write engaging PR articles and award submissions to raise the company profile within the industry and the local areas in which they operate.
- To ensure all inbound customer comments / messages through our online channels are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner. This includes all social media posts and messages, Google Business enquiries and any other blog/similar comments.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Ideally, you will have 1+ years’ experience in a similar marketing assistant / executive role
- Proven and demonstrable experience in copywriting engaging content for online channels, and ideally the press
- A thorough understanding of the key social media channels with experience using these platforms (personally or professionally)
- Strong attention to detail and a creative approach
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and effectively prioritise your workload
- Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team
- An enthusiastic personality with the motivation to learn new skills and develop a broad range of marketing skills
- Good team player, with a willingness to support within other areas of the marketing department, as required
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Strong multi-tasker, able to handle several projects at the same time
- Able to use own initiative and manage time effectively

Knowledge of marketing tools, including Canva, Mail Chimp, Hubspot, and social media scheduling software is desirable but not essential.
