**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Informing and educating customers about the benefits of purchasing from our portfolio of products and answering any follow-up questions they have.
- Outbound calls to potential prospects to generate interest
- Develop relationships with NEW & existing customers by providing support, information and guidance
- Ensuring the regular and systematic follow up of leads / opportunities to maximise order in-put potential
- Primary contact for all customer enquiries where any related sales administration tasks will be processed accordingly to procedure i.e. quotations, despatch paperwork, system specification processing, complaints, product returnsetc.
- Maintain accurate customer records, recording and retaining information in a structured and timely manner whilst researching all allocated / self-generated leads to identify potential opportunities utilising CRM
- General admin duties for the Management team / Sales & Marketing Team’s including some reporting duties as needed
- Order entry processing inclusive of contract review alongside maintaining / updating customer records
- Create, edit & update internal systems / spreadsheets and other business documents and then continue to maintain them in a confidential and easily accessible format
- Respond to incoming mail / website chat requests and phone enquires
- Maintain & update CRM Opportunities & pipeline to enable targets to be met
- Assist Sales & Marketing colleagues with collation of tender documentation and campaigns
- Regular liaison with the engineering/technical team, to ensure that customer/prospect communications are aligned
- Chase customers for any outstanding information required for projects to move to the quotation stage

**Required Length & Type of Experience**:

- Good knowledge of customer support, with an emphasis on results driven environment Proven experience within sales or telesales that includes generating and progressing proposals issued to secure business
- Ideally experience in a similar role in an industrial/engineering business
- Basic understanding of contracts, quality clauses, T&C commonly used in business
- Sales Support:3 years
- CRM Exposure, Salesforce (preferred)

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**
- Capable of working independently to individual activity / sales targets
- Result orientated and proactive
- Professional and credible relationship builder
- Good commercial acumen with previous business-to-business sales exposure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well organised with good quantitative skills and demonstrate a strong attention to detail
- Computer literate (especially in CRM platforms, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, MS Zoom, Customer Database)
