**Hours**: 37.5 Hours 18 months Fixed Term
An opportunity has arisen within the Medicine Division for a dedicated and methodical Apprentice Administration Clerk to provide support to the Division of Medicine Team.
You will earn a wage whilst working towards a Diploma Level 2 in Business Administration over a 12 month period, with entitlement to 27 days holiday plus bank holidays. You will have 1 dedicated study day a fortnight and 1:1 support throughout the Apprenticeship, as well as a mentor within your department. The qualification is fully funded and you will not have to pay anything towards it.
Many apprentices who have worked for our Trust have found full time roles within the Trust or within other local organisations and the opportunity to develop their career.

You will have good people skills and demonstrate a caring and empathetic approach to others; you may have already worked in an office environment already in a paid or voluntary capacity. Maths and English GCSE grades A-C are essential (or equivalent qualification e.g. functional skills level 2).
There is an eligibility criterion for government funded apprenticeship schemes that applies and therefore applicants should be aged 16 or over and have been resident in the UK/EU for the last three years. You must not hold a degree, level four qualification or above and have been resident in the UK/EU for the last three years.

**Essential requirements for the post**:
