**Job Introduction**:
At Colas, we have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join the team as a Quality and Compliance Officer based at our Guilden Sutton site in Cheshire West and Chester. Reporting to the Business Performance and Improvement Manager, to assist with BSI compliance and day to day tasks of compliance on contract.

**Main Responsibility**:
As a Quality and Compliance Administrator you will collate, analyse, and report all incidents, near misses and audits submitted into Eco-Online. (Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental Data platform) All triaging for CWaC, weekly stats created and cascaded. You will review and understand the Quality Plan and Quality promises Colas must deliver, building a relationship with key stakeholders. You will create, manage, and review processes and procedures and input to any improvements. You will support the BPIM in any Internal and External Audits including BSI and National Highways Sector Schemes (NHSS). You will learn and assist with local Internal Audits primarily focusing on adhering to local and IMS processes. You will facilitate, monitor, and manage all Audits that are being conducted by the teams, and being empowered to escalate any issues. You will assist the BPIM in the close out of any corrective actions arising from internal / external audits. You will learn and assist in the organisational transition to incorporate LEAN practices. You will understand, and manage the Legal Compliance Register. You will learn and understand our business activities with regard to the environment to comply with legal and corporate requirements and to minimise the risk of any environmental impact.. Be systems literate (ECO-Online, Confirm, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SmartWaste, Samsara, Kaarbontech), often collecting many data sources to add to portals and reports.To carry out other appropriate duties as assigned by the BPIM

An interest in Highways would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
