**What’s the business all about?**

You’ll be working directly with the business founder/director to help support and build the business, as well as assisting with matching students with the most appropriate tutor to provide them both with excellent service. If you’re super organised, good at building rapport with people and working with clients, this job might be just right for you

**What would you be doing?**
In this role, you’ll be working as the first point of contact for both prospective tutors and tutees - taking phone calls and following up on active leads with students/guardians. You’ll be the connector between the two, maintaining an excellent relationship and rapport with both client and tutor. You might also get involved in other aspects of business coordination - your main role is to help the director have more time to get things done

You’ll be a fully relied upon second-in-command to the director, developing responsibility and skills as you go on, and supporting the owner on anything that needs doing on a daily basis.

Typical activities may include:

- Taking phone calls and providing information to people who get in touch
- General business administration and coordination
- Inputting data and notes from conversations onto the business’ Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Organising client notes
- Looking for ways of making systems and processes more effective or efficient
- Supporting the recruitment of new tutors, including supporting interviews
- Supporting the business founder to help expand the client base

**What type of person are they looking for?**
- Be a graduate of any degree discipline
- Be logical, methodical, and organised
- Have a good understanding of the UK’s education system - GCSEs, 11/13+, A Levels
- Be comfortable in chasing warm leads, possible cold calling, and being able to build rapport with prospective clients over the phone
- Be articulate and a good communicator - this is key
- Be willing to work flexibly and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Have resilience, tenacity, and empathy with others, particularly with parents
- Be able to take initiative and have logical thinking - there’s no right answer, so you’ll need to use your own judgement
- Be trustworthy and able to manage confidential data, including student/client records

**The following would be a bonus, but don’t be put off if not**
- Having experience being a tutor
- Previous experience in sales or in education

**Salary**: £18.00-£21.00 per hour
