**About the company**

Sedgwick Resource Solutions are recruiting an experienced property & motor liability claims handler for our client, a trusted, global commercial insurer. The company operates in 28 countries all over the world including the UK but still maintains a family feeling within its teams, with a real emphasis on creating a working environment that people want to stay in for many years.

You'll be supported through further qualifications and training should you wish to expand your knowledge and expertise.

**Your new role**
- To handle and process claims pertaining to risks underwritten by the company.
- To oversee the handling of claims by third-party service providers to time and quality standards.
- To monitor the proper recording of all claims.
- Arranging “expert” investigation and following up investigators/loss adjusters/professional reports.
- Ensure the creation of correct entries and the resolution of accounts queries.
- Prepare and send large claim advices for information to reinsurers and London office
- Monitoring of outstanding claims and their incurred movements.
- Assist with the resolution of complaints.
- Production of regular and ad hoc reports on claims issues as required.
- Assist in Claims review on periodic basis.
- Assist Claims Manager with any other claim related tasks.
- Reviewing motor claims underwritten by MGAs.

**Your new benefits**
- Full time, permanent contract (with a 6-month probationary period)
- Business hours of 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday - Friday - minimum of 3 days in the office required. Flexibility is required as additional days in the office may be needed.
- 20 days holiday per annum. Holiday will increase with length of service, up to a maximum of 26 days (accrues following 2 years completed service)
