**About this exciting opportunity**

As our Fundraising Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for the fundraising team and have a broad range of duties, including responsibility for all data inputting into our ETapestry database ensuring its consistency so you are able to extract reports and communicate these to wider team. We will also count on you to work closely with the Finance team to allocate and maintain accurate records of all voluntary income in our database and St Giles filing systems and to provide monthly data analysis across all voluntary income streams to the Fundraising Team.

You will prepare and disseminate quarterly updates to donors, work with external suppliers to design and commission St Giles branded materials and leaflets and provide administrative support to all external and internal fundraising events, while also working with the communications team to promote fundraising and engagement activities and events on social media. Proactively coming up with ideas and processes to streamline our administration processes so the Fundraising Team can work more efficiently is also a vital part of this role.

**What we are looking for**
- You will have strong IT and administration skills gained within a fast moving, proactive environment - comfortable working across a variety of IT software platforms (Microsoft, Adobe, Canva and ETapestry)
- A team player with a willingness to help your colleagues and work towards St Giles mission to support thousands of people overcome complex disadvantage every year
- Data analysis skills: the ability to process large sets of data and present these in a compelling, clear way
- Working or volunteering in a fundraising role in a charity environment
- Ability to use initiative and take a creative approach to solving problems and improving systems
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
