**What is the job about?**

We’re looking for a Facilities Assistant to join our team and provide business operational support to ensure the infrastructure facilities are always maintained and compliant with safety policies.

You will deliver support to all Facility Management services, achieving this with quality and within time constraints. You will be responsible for ensuring safe and well-maintained facilities are in place for the use by colleagues and support the Facility Management function in the delivery of good estate management. Strong inter departmental relationships are required to support to facilities across the business.

**What exactly will you do?**
- Management of Stationery & Cleaning equipment (inc chemicals and consumables), ensuring wastage is tackled at all times and requests are completed in a timely manner.
- Support room, Meeting room and Office set ups.
- Assisting with general porterage and room clearances. Manage and ensure that all storage areas are kept tidy and presentable Report and replace signage around the floors as appropriate and identified in Safety audits.
- Complete floor checks ensure areas are presentable and safe for occupation and close.
- Reporting of any faults and Repair where appropriate (painting, flat pack furniture, doors etc.)
- Maintenance and upkeep of facilities.
- Assist with deliveries when required.
- Act as a single point of contact for external customers and provide escort duties to ensure safety and confidentiality is maintained.
- To inspect and conduct low level maintenance as per the in the Pre-Preventative Maintenance Regimes.
- To provide flexibility in the cleanliness of all areas in times of stress, as direct by the cleaning manager.
- Any ad hoc duties that are deemed as a reasonable management request and safe to complete.

**What we’re looking for**
- Experience of providing facilities support
- Experience in maintenance.
- Ability to work alone.
- Ability to work systematically and use your own initiative.
- Level 3 EHS or IOSH is desirable but not essential.
