Model Optimisation Lead

Edinburgh, United Kingdom NatWest Group Full time

Our people work differently depending on their jobs and needs. From hybrid working to flexible hours, we have plenty of options that help our people to thrive.

This role is based in the United Kingdom and as such all normal working days must be carried out in the United Kingdom.

Join us as our Model Optimisation Lead
- This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our organisation and revolutionize the colleague experience
- You’ll be driving the transformation of a new Colleague Goal and Journey model across our People & Transformation function
- If you’re passionate about HR transformation and have the drive to lead change in an agile and dynamic environment, join us on this journey as we redesign the colleague experience to unlock the true potential of our workforce

**Where you’ll be working**:
You’re joining us at an exciting time in People & Transformation.

With our people, values and purpose at the heart of our approach, we’re leading the change in working culture that’s accelerating our transformation into a relationship bank for a digital world. A culture where we celebrate and respect everyone’s strengths and differences, share our knowledge and experiences, and where everyone can feel comfortable bringing their true self to work - giving everyone the same opportunities to grow and get ahead.

**Your challenge**:
As we increasingly work in more flexible and agile teams, sometimes entirely remotely, we want to understand how it feels to work here and what we can improve. And for every need, or journey, we want to deliver an experience that’s seamless, positive and effortless every time.

Moving to a Colleague Goal and Journey model will allow us to truly put our colleagues at the heart of the experience. By bringing our teams together, aligned around these goals and the journeys supporting them, we can truly transform the colleague experience - and even set some new industry trends along the way.

**What you’ll do**

As a Model Optimisation Lead, you’ll be leading the implementation, evolution and integrity of our People & Transformation operating model to enable the delivery of our Colleague Goal and Journey model.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Developing our Colleague Goal and Journey model to continuously enhance our colleague experiences
- Monitoring our Colleague Goal and Journey Model to ensure the interaction model, goal taxonomy and overall operating model is effective
- Coordinating and managing work across People & Transformation and engaging key decision makers to prioritise a backlog of improvements
- Overseeing all change and transformation programmes and initiatives and making sure these align to our broader purpose, vision and goals
- Planning and executing all strategic transformation activity for People & Transformation, representing the function on any pan-bank transformation initiatives and programmes

**The skills you’ll need**:
We’re looking for a talented programme coordinator to join us on this exciting journey of change and growth. With a successful track record in programme and portfolio management, you’ll be adept at managing conflicting priorities and interests and exercising your strategic capability to manage resources and simplify complex tasks to enhance the colleague experience.

You’ll also demonstrate:

- Significant leadership experience
- Experience gained in the banking industry and a regulatory and commercial environment
- The ability to influence a wide range of audiences and represent your function
- Knowledge of relevant legal policies, regulations and risk management

**We thrive through diversity and value the variety of backgrounds, perspectives and opinions in the room - and if you value this too, there’s a place for you with us at NatWest Group.
