We are looking for a talented and dedicated Senior Quality Executive to join the newly formed Digital Commerce / Web Platforms technology organisation which powers TUI’s global e-commerce services and solutions across all European markets.
- The Senior Quality Executive will own the quality of their live Digital Product, both in live and for planned future enhancements. You will also coach your Quality Engineers in their ownership, and therefore be responsible for the overall Quality of your Pod (three Agile teams). You will manage and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT)/Business Acceptance testing and Exploratory Testing for their Product area.
- The Senior Quality Executive will work alongside Project Owners, Release Management, Developers, Delivery Managers, IT Test Managers, Testers and Quality Engineers, to ensure all changes introduced meet business requirements and are successfully deployed into production across TUIs digital selling platform. The role of the Senior Quality Executive is vital to safeguarding our customers’ overall digital experience, from both a customer front-end and business user perspective. TUI needs to continuously improve in order to benefit the online customer experience and conversion.

**ABOUT THE JOB**
- Managing and leading Quality Engineers and providing guidance and working together to ensure successful test preparation and test execution.
- Responsible for the overall test planning process within your Product Team.
- Exploratory testing of your product area, and your Quality Engineers product areas.
- Passionate owner of quality, for future deliveries and the live experience. You will ensure that you have relevant reports available on defects in development, and live, and understanding of the digital analytics and the customer feedback for your area.
- Test reporting to stakeholders, whilst also ensuring that defects/issues are prioritised and scheduled for delivery.
- Monitoring the quality of the digital selling platform in production, ensuring that production defects or opportunities are captured and prioritised in the backlog.
- Understand the source of the defects, so that the defects can be resolved as quickly as possible, ensuring the least disruption to the test execution schedule.
- Understand the potential impact of any defect delivered into Production, therefore using this to determine the priority of the defects.
- Agreeing Acceptance criteria for new stories, and approval of those acceptance criteria through the agile process.
- During test sign off, work alongside business stakeholders so that they fully understand any risks associated to a defect entering into Production together with any mitigating actions.

**ABOUT YOU**
- An ambitious and inquisitive individual with proven experience in a testing role and a good understanding of eCommerce.
- Experience of working in a development/product life cycle with a good understanding, and appreciation of agile methodology.
- A customer-centric who’s passionate about continuous improvement in order to deliver a best-in-class digital customer experience.
- Previously experience of line managing multiple individuals would be beneficial.
- Previous experience working with TUI UK and Ireland mainstream IT and business systems is desirable, but not essential.
- An analytical skill set would be beneficial, preferably with experience in web analytics such as Adobe Analytics & Qualtrics.
- The ability to manage your own time in a demanding, time-sensitive role and work comfortably within an environment of ambiguity and a high degree of complexity.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge decisions where necessary.
- Strong organisational skills with a great attention to detail and appreciation of auditing and reporting capability.
- Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, influence behaviour and change opinions based on business knowledge, experience and competence.
