Kitchen Assistant

Grounds Cafe Menu production Kitchen needs to take on an enthusiastic and hardworking person to join its small food production team.

You will work in a small team of kitchen staff and the role will mainly involve the preparation and manufacture of traybake cakes, ice creams, soups etc for distribution to our group of Cafes.

You will learn skills that you are unlikely to gain from restaurant based kitchens, including how to make speciality gelato's and also the production of our homemade traybakes, soups and winter stews.

There is no dealing with the public, so no unnecessary stress or pressure and although it can be a busy environment you will find the team calm and relaxed. All in all it has a very different 'kitchen' feel to that of a bar or restaurant. We think its as good as it gets

You will be required to work 5 days from 7 which will generally be Mon to Fri but you might occasionally be needed to work a day at the weekend to cover out busiest periods but this is very rare. However out team do start quite early start but the upside of this is that it also means an early finish and _**NO EVENINGS.**_

**Experience is not necessary as you will be given full training as you to learn the ropes, develop and grow within the team, all we ask is that you are hardworking and keen to learn**

We offer excellent rates of pay depending on the skill level of the applicant
