Our client is a professional services organisation who are seeking to recruit, on a full time, permanent basis, an enthusiastic Legal Administrator to provide effective support to their Private Client team whom are based in Wellington.
The role:
To assist the Supervising Partner and Legal Advisor/s by providing administrative support
Ø Carry out all necessary money laundering checks in line with the Firms procedures
Ø Bill processing
Ø Carry out all necessary administration in respect of client documentation, including typing, printing, preparing and collating
Ø Ensure contacts, clients and connections are updated as required
Ø Assist with file closures and removing ID, uploading ID
Ø Review and maintain diary appointments as appropriate
Ø Attend to clients on the phone and in person, accurately recording any messages and passing on to the appropriate person
Ø Filing of all correspondence and documentation
Ø Prepare files for archiving
Ø Provide cover for Reception during the lunch break
Ø Provide regular updates to the Supervising Partner as to workload and capacity
Ø Escalate any issues to the Supervising Partner
Ø Prioritise and manage workload effectively and ensure deadlines are met
Ø Undertake any additional duties which from time to time may be requested
About you:
strong organisational/administration skills.
