Qc Inspector

**JOB TITLE: Quality Control (QC) Inspector**
**REPORTING TO: QHSE Manager**
**SALARY: Upto £33,000**

**Location**:Onsite based in - Devon EX16 6SB**

**Working hours**:
**-**Monday to Thursday - 8.30 am - 5.00 pm
- Friday 8.30am to 1.00 pm

**JOB SUMMARY**:
The QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all materials, components and
assemblies utilised within the business comply with relevant specifications, drawings
and documentation.

**MAIN DUTIES OF JOB**:

- Ensuring that all inspection, documentation and testing activities are completed in an accurate manner and that all material received into and despatched have been confirmed to meet required specifications.
- Be the point of contact for all material supplied and despatched to ensure that it meets the required standards established by drawings, specifications and similar documentation.
- Completing inspection and quality assurance activities in Goods Inwards/ Despatch and Work in-process environments.
- Management of the instruments calibration system.
- Responsibility for the inspection of all components, assemblies and complete packages throughout the manufacturing works using contract specific Inspection and Test Plans (I&TP).
- Completing inspections, assessments and providing documented reports clearly identifying deficiencies and non-conformance to specifications and drawings.
- Completion of technical machine shop inspection using Faro 3D CMM measuring equipment (in addition to basic mechanical measurement activities).
- Completion of assessments of painted components including but not limited to paint adhesion, thickness and quality checks.
- Completion of assessments of welded components to assess quality of weld using visual and basic measuring equipment.

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
