The QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all materials, components and assemblies utilised within the business comply with relevant specifications, drawings and documentation.

This role would ideally suit somebody who values the importance of attention to detail and has the ability to work using their own initiative whilst also being part of a team. You will need the ability to quickly establish effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

- Ensuring that all inspection, documentation and testing activities are completed in an accurate manner and that all material / assemblies / packages that are to be despatched have been confirmed to meet required specifications.
- Be the point of contact for all material supplied and despatched to ensure that it meets the required standards established by drawings, specifications and similar documentation.
- Completing inspection and quality assurance activities in Despatch and Work in-process environments.
- Management of the instruments calibration system.
- Responsibility for the inspection of all components, assemblies and complete packages throughout the manufacturing works using contract specific Inspection and Test Plans (I&TP).
- Completing inspections, assessments and providing documented reports clearly identifying deficiencies and non-conformance to specifications and drawings.
- Completion of technical machine shop inspection using Faro 3D CMM measuring equipment (in addition to basic mechanical measurement activities).
- Completion of assessments of painted components including but not limited to paint adhesion, thickness and quality checks.
- Completion of assessments of welded components to assess quality of weld using visual and basic measuring equipment.

Office (36.5 hours per week): Monday to Thursday - 08.30 to 17.00

[30 minutes unpaid lunch break each day]
