In this role, you will manage and prioritise the work of a team in order to ensure that Supporting People payments are correct and provider financial information is up-to-date. Read on to find out more about this exciting opportunity.

**Main Duties**:

- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Exercise the challenge function in order to ensure the probity of company funds
- Provide advice and guidance to Supporting People providers on a range of Supporting People issues
- Ensure compliance with Supporting People policy and procedures
- Motivate and manage the performance of staff to optimise compliance against team targets
- Identify staff training needs
- Instil an ethos of continuous improvement within the team, so that current performance standards can be challenged through new ways of working, without compromising control
- Provide advice, guidance and help to staff in relation to daily priorities, and seek guidance from the Level 6 and/or the Level 7 Manager where appropriate to ensure the timely resolution of issues/problems
- Ensure control checks are consistently exercised via compliance checking/sampling in order to ensure the integrity of financial information
- Audit of financial information input by Level 3

**Personal Attributes**:

- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Professional or Technical Qualification plus 1 year of relevant experience

**OR**
- BTEC Higher or equivalent Professional or Technical Qualification plus at least 2 years relevant experience

**OR**
- Experience working in a finance transaction environment
- Experience in computer techniques, including MS Office, especially Excel
- Experience in the use of integrated financial accounting systems
- Experience working as part of a structured team with good interpersonal skills to interact with staff at all levels

**Remuneration and Conditions of Assignment**:

- £12.92 per hour
- Full-time, temporary-ongoing
- 9 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday
- Basic Access NI Required at the cost of £18
