Maintenance Labourer

Haskins Property Maintenance team work primarily on 2 sites within Shepton Mallet. We undertake a variety of maintenance work to ensure the smooth running of our sites and properties.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
- Salary: £10.00 per hour
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Work Phone provided
- Use of Company vehicle when on site
- Petrol Card
- 28 days holiday per year

**Main Duties to include**:

- Collect and distribute all necessary materials and equipment required, ensuring all plant, tools, equipment and vehicles are maintained and stored in clean order.
- Liaise with tenants and work colleagues appropriately and promptly.
- You will observe and comply with policies and procedures for Health and Safety at Work.
- Deliver materials, equipment etc. to various sites in company transit tipper
- Load/unload construction materials
- General maintenance of construction tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Preparing and cleaning up job sites
- Assisting other specialised contractors when necessary
- Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary

- Able to work as part of a small team and independently in varied roles
- Have a can-do attitude and be punctual and reliable
- Familiar with general building works, materials, and practices
- Familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures
- Be able to carry out strenuous physical tasks
- The ability to be able to work in all weather conditions
- Previous experience is essential, as is a Full Valid driving licence (max. 6 points) and own transport
- You will need to be flexible and reliable, with an ability to work both as a member of a team and on your own initiative.
