The 5* Lowry Hotel - Manchester's Iconic Hotel is recruiting for the exciting role of Sustainable Water Attendant.

The role involves being an the implementation and operation of the hotel's sustainable water bottling initiative.

The main duties of the role entail:
Collection and washing of Lowry glass bottles.- Storage of empty bottles
- Filling bottles with filtered water
- Storage of full bottles ready for dispatch
- Supplying crates of bottled water to Housekeeping and F&B
- Ensuring enough stocks are available for required usage.
- Keeping records of requisitions and supply of orders for departments
- Keeping a stock take of bottles and lids.
- Ordering bottles and lids when needed as per ordering guidelines.
- Following hygiene procedures whilst supplying bottled water
- Ensuring the bottling area is kept clean and tidy in line with health and hygiene policies.
- Reporting any losses /breakages to line manager
- To ensure all equipment is used in accordance with supplier guidelines and report any faults to maintenance.
- To assist other departments if required.
- To ensure strong communication is used throughout the team to ensure challenges are resolved in a timely manner.
- To be involved in supporting and implementing the hotel’s sustainability initiatives.
- To answer telephone promptly following hotel best practice and be knowledgeable to satisfy hotel guest and team member enquiries.
- Ensure accurate guest information data handling and collation (in accordance with GDPR) and offer enhanced service options.
- Ensure hotel security is maximized at all opportunities, focus should always be on guest and team members safety.
- To have a good knowledge of the local area and hotel, facilities, promotions, and events in order to be able to support guests and team members with their enquiries.
- To support with stock requisitions ensuring that they are checked and stored correctly, whilst adhering to the hotel requisition system at all times.

Flexibility in this role is required as the hours of work are on a shift basis including weekends.
