Main Responsibilities
To direct, lead and develop the Network Rail Digital Data & Technology relationships with Region and Route(s) customers, National Functions and the rail industry through delivering a true partnership environment in order to deliver an enhanced customer experience for Digital Data & Technology rail services and providing value.
- Develop and embed the relationship with rail customers, closely monitoring performance through customer satisfaction scores so that requests are delivered, and customers consistently chooses Digital Data & Technology as their preferred provider, recommending their services and acting as Network Rail biggest advocate.
- Direct and lead on engagement with the Routes, Regions, National functions, and customers for Digital Data & Technology, so that an enhanced customer experience is delivered, and strong relationships are developed and maintained.
- Provide Digital Data & Technology technical expertise and insight into the development of Network Rail’s capability, to successfully support future demand in order to progress opportunities and work programmes delivered by Digital Data & Technology to meet customer and stakeholder requirements.
- Represent the customer within Digital Data & Technology, holding to account the Digital Data & Technology virtual customer and technical teams through their offering of expert guidance and advice in order to satisfy customer requests to the highest standard.
- Represent Digital Data & Technology and be the key point of liaison with customers and the industry, at all levels within the customer organisations, expertly promoting Network Rail’s capabilities and services to influence product selection.
- Create a partnership environment with the regional customer to align and integrate customer plans and strategies, drawing on industry experience to create business synergies so that Digital Data & Technology can add value for the customer.
- Own and deliver customer development plans to drive strategic alignment, opportunities and customer satisfaction which will support and influence Digital Data & Technology strategic direction.
- Identify and lead on all Digital Data & Technology customer focused campaigns and initiatives to support Network Rail strategic imperatives, service introduction and service performance in order that there is a consistent excellent customer experience.
- Own, shape and lead the portfolio of services that will be delivered for the customers and monitor overall performance of the portfolio, with particular focus on budgets, key milestones, resources, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with the functional Leads to assure that initiatives, projects and programmes deliver benefits and outcomes aligned to the customers business plans, incorporating regular reviews to provide constructive feedback, creating a culture of continuous improvement and alignment.
