Day Services Officer

**Salary**: £22,777 to £25,409 per annum

Parkstone Connect Day Centre in Croft Road is a lively, friendly and professional day service, supporting adults from the local community.

The people who attend the centre are adults with a wide range of support needs. We support people individually or in small groups to develop their skills and engage in meaningful activities such as, Pottery, Yoga, Art, Gardening, Exercise, Woodcraft and Drama, with many informal social opportunities.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Supporting the Manager in the delivery of services.
- Supervision and development of individual and group programmes.
- Undertaking day to day supervision and direction of other staff.
- Developing care plans to meet individual client’s needs.
- Knowledge of relevant Community Care legislation.
- An understanding of Health and Safety.
- A strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable.

37 hours per week.
