**Job description**
The Cawood Group currently have an exciting opportunity for a hybrid/home-based Junior LIMS administrator on a Full Time, Permanent basis.
This role is to join the team that is responsible for ongoing maintenance and customisation of the Cawood Group Labware LIMS platform. You will be playing a key part in Cawood Scientific’s ongoing programme of LIMS consolidation onto a common platform, this job is a mix of project work and operational activity.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assisting in understanding business processes and contributing to the development of new processes.
- Working collaboratively with the team to define and document new requirements.
- Assisting in the development of new reports as required.
- Contributing to ensuring all code is appropriately formatted and documented.
- Supporting the monitoring of Labware LIMS and ensuring it is functional for users.
- Assisting in the identification and diagnosis of root causes of bugs and contributing to appropriate fixes.
- Supporting business stakeholders in using Labware LIMS more effectively, aiming to maximize the business benefit of the system.
- Supporting the Cawood Scientific LIMS Consolidation project, working with stakeholders to define and deliver Labware LIMS to new sites.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Ideally have a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience working with a LIMS system is strongly preferred.
- Experience working in a scientific laboratory is a plus.
- Experience working with a CRM or ERP is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in using computer software and systems, including Microsoft Office and database management tools.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
