Finance Manager

We are currently recruiting for a highly reputable business based in North Essex/Suffolk Boarder who are seeking a Finance Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.
You will be an excellent communicator with an inquisitive nature and an eye for detail.
**Main responsibilities include**:

- Producing accurate monthly management accounts.
- Producing department P&Ls ready for discussion with the department managers.
- Handling balance sheet schedules that reconcile to the monthly management accounts.
- Ensuring the sales ledger and purchase ledger are accurate at all times and reconciles to the information held.
- Ensure that suppliers are paid within agreed terms.
- Producing and monitoring cashflows forecasts.
- Preparing VAT/CIS returns monthly/quarterly and report to HMRC.
- Managing a small team and providing support to other members of the department.

**Key skills**:

- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA,CIMA) or qualified by experience with relevant experience.
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Strong Excel skills
