We are looking to recruit a skilled and motivated CAMHS Practitioner with the appropriate professional qualification and experience to work in a multi-disciplinary CAMHS Targeted team based in Radlett. This is a countywide post and will involve travelling across the county.

CAMHS Targeted Team is a welcoming, friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team who are committed to providing innovative and high quality care. We offer a variety of specialist interventions including TF-CBT, DDP, Family Therapy clinics, and a nine week programme for carers aimed at improving the understanding and care of children and young people who have experienced trauma and attachment difficulties. Interventions can be with child or parent/carer or together as well as offering support to various professional networks supporting the child. We offer consultation both formal and informal to our colleagues within social care and education and when required our CAMHS colleagues across the county. We have regular opportunities for team away days and a regular meeting structure for peer support and clinical thinking.

As a registered professional from a professional background such as; family therapy, psychology, occupational therapist, social worker, nursing your duties will include the provision of specialist consultation for children who have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences. We provide advice, mental health assessment, and work closely with other agencies who support the child. As a senior worker you will offer support, supervision and teaching of staff and/or students.

.The post-holder will be a member of the award winning Community CAMHS Targeted team working with children and young people presenting with complex mental health, emotional and behavioural problems who are either Looked after or on the edge of care and who may have experienced developmental trauma. The post holder will provide a high standard of care to children, adolescents and their families/carers. The team work within the context of CAPA and CYP-IAPT and work closely with a range of colleagues in social care, schools and other partners. We are looking for a CAMHS Practitioner to compliment the skills of the existing team.
