**Position Summary**

Working in the Distribution Centre your primary role will be based on the ground floor working in the department of Despatch and Events and you will be reporting to the Team Lead on shift for the relevant area. Planning and scheduling events for over 25 brands and shipping to over 50 customers, setting up the events and executing them. Sending cartons and orders down a line to meet customer on counter dates and internal despatch and collection dates. Picking and counting customers order on various products, from part picks to full cases. Meeting customer compliance. as well as making sure the correct items are accounted for and all shipments are completed. The role is varied, and you will be required to work on your own and part of a team to complete all necessary tasks and making sure that the team hit internal department targets as well as supporting the DC in achieving overall targets each week, month and across the financial year. Previous SAP knowledge is desirable to help with system processing of events.Previous Distribution Centre Experience Beneficial Shift 06:00-14:00. Monday - Friday. 37.5 hours.

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**
- Working in a safe manner and putting safety at the front of everything you do to ensure your safety as well as your colleagues
- Safe movement and storage of goods, using hand pallet trucks or Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE).
- Good communication to all levels, ensuring any issues are communicated and escalated when required to your management team
- Training on SAP(Warehouse management system) and reports.
- Support other departments, being confident and flexible in your own department and with others.
- Utilising IT equipment to complete your tasks e.g., RF Terminals, PC’s
- Labelling cartons and building pallets.
- Working to deadlines for outbound shipments and meeting customer On counter dates.
- Working proactively to maintain KPI’s / SLAs
- Making sure outbound shipments are correctly completed and shipped out on time as well as assisting with aspects for shipping compliance.
- Supporting the despatch Operation and Team when required.

**Qualifications** Knowledge, Skills & Experience**
- Good IT skills, with good knowledge of Word, Excel, Teams
- Previous experience with SAP or a Warehouse Management system desirable, but not essential
- Good Communication skills, to be able to communicate to all levels
- Be able to prioritise workload, and still be flexible to cover new priorities
- Physically fit and healthy to undertake the tasks as this is a very manual role
- Hard Working and conscientious to be able to work to targets
- Positive
- Self-motivating and able to drive yourself and the team forward
- Be able to work in a high pressured and busy environment at times.
