**JOB TITLE**: Receptionist / Administrator (Permanent Position)

**HOURS OF WORK**:Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 3pm

**SALARY**:Competitive salary, starting salary commensurate with experience

**2.** **JOB PURPOSE**

**3.** **DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Meeting and greeting visitors
- Answering switchboard, screening, and directing calls
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail
- Organising and managing staff travel (i.e. booking flights/boats, hotels, airport parking, transport)
- Co-ordinating meetings and organising refreshments / boardroom setup
- Ordering supplies for department managers
- Ordering stationery and general supplies for the office
- Collating credit card receipts and assist with reconciliations
- Provide general support to the Directors
- Provide HR administrative support in the areas of Recruitment and Selection, Onboarding and Absence Management.
- Ensure the time and attendance system is updated in respect of sickness absence and collate absence data for weekly reports.
- Assist with organising Occupational Health appointments.
- Update employee information on North Time system (e.g. new starters, leavers, absence, holidays etc).
- Managing staff uniforms
- Update and maintain employee personnel files in compliance with Data Protection regulations.

- Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with the Company’s Health and Safety and Equal Opportunities Policy.
- Conduct all activities with confidentiality and in accordance with the requirements of Data Protection Legislation.
- Undertake any other duties as required, that are within the competence of the post holder and conducive to the effective delivery of the role.
- Undertake and attend any training deemed necessary under the above general conditions.

**2.** **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**

**Essential**
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above or the equivalent)
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficient in the use of IT systems, including Microsoft Office (outlook, Excel, Word)
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- High standard of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Flexible in approach and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work with complete confidentiality
- Access to a car and driving license

**Desirable**
- Experience of organising staff travel
- HR Qualification / previous experience in a HR role
- A keen interest in HR
- Working experience of North Time Pro

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £22,000.00 per year
