POST- are looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager for our market leading client, to manage and grow a successful patch in the South East of England.

The patch is well-established, with excellent potential and would suit a passionate and energetic salesperson who enjoys consultative selling. The role will involve both new business development, as well as account management and will be remote based fromhome as well as out in the field for client meetings.

You’ll be joining a high-performing, supportive team within a business that genuinely cares about personal/professional development and building a fantastic culture.

**What you'll be doing-**
- Achieving individual sales revenue targets & activity targets.
- Owning the sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
- Generating and converting new business opportunities through dedicated prospecting and cold calling.
- Managing the customer base to deliver first class account management with quality regular & timely review meetings
- Upselling with our client's product suite.
- Ensuring that all accounts have a clear understanding of products & pricing structure, and to deliver value-added solutions against their business needs.
- Interpreting data and information in review meetings with customers enabling them to better understand their businessand the market/s within which they operate.
- To liaise with internal support functions such as Customer Services and Finance to ensure smooth management of the billing & administration process for your customer base, plus the provision of any supporting sales reports.
- Work closely with your Telephone Account Management and New Business Telephone Consultant to maximize opportunities in your patch
- To attend monthly national/regional meetings

**What we need to see from you-**
- You’ll come from a successful Business Development/ Account Management background, ideally with a Market Leader, but if not, you’ll be able to demonstrate experience in selling on value
- Proven outstanding sales and negotiation skills, and consistent over achievement of targets
- Sales experience in advertising, digital marketing, technology or media would be an advantage but is not essential
- You'll be a hungry and outgoing salesperson, with a passion for consultative sales
- You'll understand the value of data and insight and will be able to use data to tell a story and back up your recommendations
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a clear work ethic
- Shows resilience and tenacity when the going gets tough
- Excellent Geographical planning, to optimise appointment levels
- You'll be able to challenge ideas and ask probing question
- A problem solver with the ability to take ownership and resolve issues

**What you’ll get-**
- £40,000 + Basic Salary (negotiable)
- Achievable, uncapped £15,000 annual OTE
- OTE is paid monthly and is guaranteed for the first four months on joining
- 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
