The Finance Assistant position supports the management of bank transactions, & oversight of sales & purchase ledgers. We are looking for a real team player who can communicate effectively with both colleagues & stakeholders.

**Key experience**
- Robust understanding of bookkeeping & accounting principles,
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage 50
- A commitment to high levels of integrity & confidentiality
- Superior mathematical acumen.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversight of daily bank transactions and reconciliation
- Approval and accurate processing of supplier invoices in a timely manner
- Preparation of month-end supplier payments for review and approval
- Compilation of data for ad-hoc/monthly sales invoices and expense claims
- Administration of time management software encompassing starters, leavers, tasks, and customers
- Fulfilment of other miscellaneous duties as needed.

**Desired Skills**:

- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Methodical, detail-oriented, and organized.
- Effective time management and adaptability
